Education is the most important and very powerful instrument to build a just and better society. The diocese of Ajmer, keeping in mind the tremendous power of education bought 11.5 bihgas of land in Baran on March 1999. The main aim and focus was to illuminate the hearts and minds of pupil in order to serve the humanity and uplift the nation. The then Bishop Rt. Rev Ignatius Menezes and the authorities concerned appointed Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Pinto as a pioneer to this land. As a initial structure the boundary wall came up in 1999 and then 3 bihgas of land was used to construct school. The school was opened on July 2002 and then on September 2002, the fresh construction of class rooms began and it was inaugurated by the then Bishop on 30th July 2003. Around 80 children were admitted in the K.G. sections. Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Pinto was the first Principal and he was supported by Sr. Juliana P.S.A. the then Vice-Principal of the school. In the year 2006, some more construction work took place and some more classrooms were made in the first floor. After the zealous and ardent 7 years of hard work, finally Rev. Fr. Pinto got transfer from Baran and Rev. Fr. Mukesh Rawat took charge in the year 2009. The end of 2011, some more construction work began and many new facilities of Computer lab, Mathematics lab, Science lab, Smart classes, Audio-Video library etc were constructed on 15th January 2012 it was inaugurated by Rt. Rev. Bp. Ignatius Menezes. After 5 years of tireless work Rev. Fr. Mukesh was transferred in 2014 and the responsibility of taking the school to further heights was rested on Rev. Fr. Joseph Olickal. A new Vice Principal, Rev. Sr. Lovina also was appointed. The school is also raised to the level of Senior Secondary School.

Today, St. Paul’s School stands tall with well equipped labs of computer, math, and science, big library, smart classes, kindergarten, school band etc. The school also give importance to sports and physical activities as the students are encouraged to play Kho-Kho, Basket-ball, Hand-ball, Table-tennis, Badminton and many other sports activities in the school as the students also have four groups of Red, Blue, Yellow and Green. The school has also updated itself with the modern trends of bringing the best out of waste in Art Classes and the Yoga Asana which also keeps the student physically fit. The fresh drinking water was also made available by installing R.O. purifying system.

After thirteen long years the school has finally become one of the best schools of Baran as every year our students come out with good result in academic, co-curricular activities, sports and games. Finally, St. Paul’s School has emerged itself as the best, for the all-round development and training for the students of Baran.
